Notice the height of the water in the swimming pool? That's customized for our little swimmers. They had a break from school and an early summer treat last March 18, 2008. One Jeepney full of nursery kids with their mommys, lolas, lolos and yayas. Their teacher, Miss Amie, was there too. We had to force her to come (joke) errr... we had to borrow her from her loads of schoolwork so the children can be with her. Present were John Vincent Bullozo, Charles Maddela, John Loyd Carbonell, Kyle and Kristian Marinay (twins), Eryll Bachine, Deanne Bamba, Tonee Domingo, Gweneth Duldulao, Jemjem Nicolas, Jeanise Laporga, Kailin Lian and of course, Jaenie Jaye.
Jemjem celebrated her 4th birthday celebration at the resort so foods were not a problem, and there were a lot! As usual, again(!) we resorted to plastic system. The "pabaon" style of Filipinos where food were put into plastics (PE) so there won't be leftovers.
Funny thing is, since graduation is but a few days to go, some guardians for that matter, wont let their child swim under the hot scorching sun for fear of skin darkening. Some won't even allow the child to swim for more than an hour for fear that the child might catch a cold or flu. While their classmates were having fun in the water, three children were sad sitting with their guardians. It's summer, it's an outing and the water is just so inviting for a very hot and humid day. Well there's always a next time. Have Fun everyone! Summer's the season to have a little color ehhhmmm.... tan!
